DC Water Clean Rivers- Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Study, Washington DC

District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DCWASA)

CSL was hired by DC Water to perform post-construction monitoring as a part of their Clean Rivers project. The Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) study includes 70 temporary flow meters for a period of one year. The project involves all aspects of flow meter installation, calibration, operation and maintenance, data collection, data analysis, and monthly reporting for the set of flow meters installed in fall 2014. The project involves pipe sizes ranging from 18 inches to 20 feet in diameter, and a wide range of challenging hydraulic conditions. CSL ended up using five different types of flow meter technologies to handle the wide range of hydraulic conditions presented by this project.

“CSL has always been extremely customer-friendly, and has made it their commitment to not only meet, but exceed my expectations. They have assisted me in providing flow monitoring and data analysis for several projects in the Bucks County Water and Sewerage Authority’s systems over the past several years, and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
